Ways We Can Help

Choose care shaped around your life

  • A woman with a clipboard listens to a client in a bright office with shelves

    Individual Therapy

A private, collaborative space to understand recurring patterns, work through hard experiences and practice new ways of responding. Your clinician names the method, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, and explains it before using it. This is not emergency care. Fees are in how fees work.

    • CBT

    • Mindfulness-based skills

  • A bright living room with a white sofa, mustard cushions, plants and a tall gold mirror

    Couples Counseling

Support for partners who want to interrupt painful cycles and say what they need without blame. Each partner meets the clinician alone once early on. Sessions run 80 minutes. Your clinician sets the pace with you.

    • Communication

    • Repeating patterns

  • Standing stones on raked gravel in a Japanese temple garden

    Anxiety & Stress

Practical skills for worry, panic, perfectionism and burnout. Your clinician explains each skill and why, and you choose what to practice between sessions. We can say when it is worth seeing a physician too.

    • Worry

    • Panic

    • Stress

  • A woman in glasses and a black blazer talks with a client seen from behind

    Trauma-Informed Therapy

Therapy that prioritizes safety, choice and steadiness before any difficult material. Nothing starts until you say so, and you can pause or stop at any time. Your clinician explains what a method can stir up before you decide.

    • Pacing

    • Grounding

  • Cupped hands hold a pile of sprouting seeds

    Life Transitions

A steady place to think through a move, a new job, a change in a relationship or a stage of life that does not feel like yours yet. Sessions are a conversation, not a test.

    • Work

    • Relationships

  • Two women talk on a grey sofa, one holding a phone

    Grief and Loss

Room for a death, an ending or a change that has no name yet. There is no schedule for grief, and your clinician does not set one for you.

    • Loss

    • Support

Getting Started

Finding the right place to start

  1. A corduroy sofa against a warm-lit wall beside a floor lamp
    01

Tell us what is bringing you in

Write to us, and tell us what you would like help with and how to reach you. A few words are enough. We will suggest a clinician.

  2. A laptop and an open notebook on a white desk under the shadow of a window on a peach wall
    02

    Meet the right clinician

We suggest a clinician whose training, style and schedule fit what you wrote. If the fit is not right, you can ask to meet someone else.

  3. Backlit seedlings silhouetted against a white background
    03

    Agree on how to start

Together you choose goals and a method that fits your pace, and your clinician explains it before you start.

  4. A smiling woman with curly hair in a red patterned dress stands outdoors with her arms folded
    04

    Check in as you go

Your clinician asks how it is working and changes the method, the rhythm or the goals when your needs change.

Before You Book

Questions about choosing a service

01How do I know which service is right for me?

Write to us and say what you would like help with. We suggest a clinician and a place to start, and many people begin with individual sessions and add couples work later.

02Can I switch between services?

Yes. As your needs change, you and your clinician can change the plan. Many people start with individual therapy and later add couples sessions.

03What if I need more support than weekly sessions?

Tell your clinician. They can meet more often when that helps, and they will say when it is worth seeing a psychiatrist or physician as well.

04Can we meet by video?

Yes, for clients who are in Oregon, where our clinicians are licensed. We will confirm your location when we schedule.

05How often will I come?

Most people begin weekly so there is some continuity. You and your clinician can move to every other week or another rhythm. Your clinician sets the pace with you.

06What if the first clinician is not the right fit?

Tell us. A good fit matters, and we can introduce you to another Tide clinician or suggest someone outside the practice.

Not sure which service fits?

You do not need to diagnose yourself before reaching out. Tell us what is happening and we will help you choose a thoughtful starting point.
